Roof Storm Damage

SERVPRO of Bellaire, Kalkaska, Lake City & Grayling recently took care of a roof storm damage incident. Due to high winds from a winter storm a nearby tree had fallen on the roof of this house and punctured the roof. This results in snow, moisture, and water to intrude into the house. At SERVPRO we work quickly to get tarps on roofs after an incident like this to limit any secondary damages. If roofs don't get tarped at the instance of a storm damage, there can be extensive secondary damages that occur. As mentioned, water can intrude and the moisture in the roof can create mold if not tended to.
