Douglas S. Bailey (President/Owner)

Owner of SERVPRO® of Gaylord & Cheboygan since 1999, and becoming sole owner in 2005. Doug’s experience in the industry started with him working for Frankenmuth Mutual Insurance for 8 years as a Senior Adjuster, AIC, then co-owner of SERVPRO® of Saginaw from 1998-2004, which is recognized as the Extreme Team. Originally, Doug Bailey started the SERVPRO® of Gaylord & Cheboygan franchise. After establishing the Gaylord & Cheboygan territory in 2000, Doug then began expanding and running a franchise in the Upper Peninsula in 2009. In late 2019, another expansion was made which added the SERVPRO® of Bellaire, Kalkaska, Lake City & Grayling to the servicing area.  Doug received his business degree from Northwood University, carries a builder’s license, is certified through the IICRC as a Water Damage Restoration Technician, has taken Mold Remediation Training through Consultants Restoration, and Applied Structural Drying Certification. He and his wife Becky reside in Cheboygan.

Dan Preston (Co-Owner)

Dan brings over 10 years of Commercial Facility Maintenance and Construction experience to SERVPRO’s team of Project Managers since 2015. Dan holds multiple certifications which include Applied Structural Drying, Commercial Drying Specialist, Applied Microbial Remediation Specialist, and being a Lead Certified Professional. Dan focus’ on all aspects of the restoration from the initial mitigation to full building reconstruction. Dan also became a co-owner of our two SERVPRO franchises in 2023. In his time off you can find Dan, his wife and 2 children in Cheboygan immersed in Northern Michigan’s great outdoors from the water to the snow.

Josh Bailey (Co-Owner)

Josh joined our team in September of 2016 as part of our Marketing Department and is now working as a Project Manager. Josh graduated from Northwood University in 2016 with a degree in Business Management and has his Water Damage Restoration Certification through the IICRC. Josh is also a Lead Certified Professional. He is looking forward to continuing to further his knowledge and expertise in the restoration industry. Josh also became a co-owner of our two SERVPRO franchises in 2023. In his free time, Josh enjoys fishing and hunting in the great outdoors of Northern Michigan.

Shawn Campbell (Project Manager)

Shawn started with SERVPRO in 2002 as Office Support Staff writing estimates and managing direct referral accounts. She was promoted to Office Manager, Marketing Representative and worked her way into Project Management. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management with a minor in Marketing from Saginaw Valley State University. Her certifications include: Water Damage Restoration Technician through the IICRC. Applied Structural Drying Tech, Applied Microbial Remediation, Fire & Smoke Remediation, Odor Control, & Trauma Scene Clean Up. Shawn has a daughter and resides in Gaylord with her husband Mark and their two dogs.

Amber Farley (Project Manager)

Amber brings to our team over 10 years experience in the restoration industry.  Her expertise in the industry started with a hands on position working in the field as a Crew Leader and is now part of the Project Management team specializing in water mitigation, fire and smoke cleanup and deodorization and mold remediation.  Amber has her Water Damage Restoration, Applied Structural Drying, Fire & Smoke Restoration, Odor Control, Applied Microbial Remediation and her Biohazard Trauma Scene Cleanup Certifications. Amber loves spending time with her family including her nieces and nephews and loves the outdoors!

Tim Lawes (Project Manager)

Tim was born and raised in Northern Michigan. After high school, Tim worked for 4 years on the Great Lakes Freighter’s and made his career change at age 22 to the construction field. In 1998 he became a licensed Residential Builder and opened his own construction company for over 16 years. Tim became part of the SERVPRO® team in 2014 as a Project Manager. He has retained his builder’s license, and is certified in Water Damage Restoration, Applied Structural Drying, as well as Applied Microbial Remediation. Tim is also a Lead Certified Professional. He and his wife, Tonia are blessed to have 2 daughters as well as a son. In their free time they enjoy camping, fishing, boating, and just getting together as a family for cookouts.

Tony Tibbetts (Project Manager)

Tony started with SERVPRO in January of 2022. He worked in the insurance claims field for 20 years before joining our team. He has his Water Damage Restoration Certification through the IICRC and has his certification in Applied Microbial Remediation. Tony is a proud graduate of Northern Michigan University with a degree in General Studies. He enjoys taking part in all outdoor activities that beautiful Northern Michigan has to offer.

Cameron Jones (Project Manager)

Cam joined our team in the spring of 2022. He started as an assistant project manager but worked his way into his current role as Project Manager. Cam is IICRC Water Mitigation Certified and is certified in Odor Control, Fire & Smoke Remediation, and Applied Microbial Remediation.  Cam brings a wealth of knowledge to the company as he has spent over 4 years in mechanical and new construction trades, and brings over 8 years of work in customer service and relations. He prides himself on making our clients feel that they’re a priority during the mitigation process. In his time off you can find Cam spending time with his wife and son, boating, hiking, snowmobiling, and hunting. Cam resides with his family in Grayling.

John Chanda (Assistant Project Manager)

John joined our team in December of 2022. John is currently certified in Water Damage Restoration and is a Licensed Asbestos Abatement Supervisor. He has experience in commercial painting and understands how important it is to get homes and businesses back to preloss condition. In his free time you can find him taking care of his farm and spending time with his family. John and his family currently reside in Wolverine.

Benjamin Blake (Marketing)

Ben joined our team in the summer of 2020 as a member of the Marketing Department.  He is excited to further his knowledge in the restoration industry and to develop and establish his roots in Northern Michigan.  He is a 2020 graduate of Northwood University where he majored in marketing and is also Google Analytics certified.  Ben’s proudest marketing achievement is receiving a Special Certificate of Congressional Recognition from the United States House of Representatives for some of his digital marketing work. In his free time you can find him spending time outdoors, playing sports, or spending quality time with his new little family which he is very proud of.

Jill Alread (Chief Administrative Officer)

Jill Alread is the Chief Administrative Officer here at SERVPRO®. Our Office Administrative staff works together closely from beginning to end. When you call in you will be greeted by them when reporting your initial First Notice of Loss. Following that they perform all of the related duties and tasks to make sure the entire claims process for our clients is satisfactory and runs smoothly.

Melissa Mackowiak (Director of Mitigation Services)

Melissa Mackowiak is our Director of Mitigation Services. Our Office Administrative staff works together closely from beginning to end. Tonia Beardslee (Accounts Receivable)

Tonia Beardslee is responsible for our Accounts Receivable. Our Office Administrative staff works together closely from beginning to end.
